Privacy policy

Your data

• Hosted in the United States, on Vercel and Neon.
• Encrypted in transit.
• We never contact or sell your customers’ details.
• Texts are sent through carrier-registered numbers.
• Export or deletion on request at support@tretle.com.

What we collect

• Company details. The company’s name, subdomain, logo, colour, phone, email, website, industry, size and country, as given at sign-up and in Settings.
• Staff. Names, email addresses and positions of the people a company adds, and when they log in.
• Customers and contacts. Customer names, and the names, email addresses and phone numbers of the contacts a company chooses to keep updated.
• Job data. Job numbers, steps, dates, notes, the details a customer fills in, and the photos staff attach to steps.
• Billing. The subscription’s state. Card numbers are entered at Stripe and never reach us.
• Messages to us. What you send through the contact form, with your name, email and company.
• Visits. Page views on tretle.com itself (the home, sign-up and legal pages) are counted with Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies and keeps no personal data; nothing is counted on a company’s address.

Why

To run the service: show each job’s page to the right customer, send the emails and text messages a company turns on, let staff log in, bill the company, and answer the messages you send us. We do not use any of it for advertising.

Who processes it

These companies handle data on our behalf, each under its own privacy terms:

• Vercel: hosting, and storage for logos and photos.
• Neon: the database.
• Stripe: subscriptions and card payments.
• Resend: email.
• Twilio: text messages, for contacts who agreed to them.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Text messages

A company sends text updates only to the contacts it adds, only about their own jobs, and only after the contact agrees to receive them; the company records that agreement. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that company, START to opt back in, and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Retention

Data stays while the company’s account exists. When a company deletes its account, or we close it, the account and everything in it are purged 30 days later. Contact-form messages are kept for one year. Backups roll off within 30 days of that.

Deletion on request

A company’s admin can delete customers, contacts, jobs and staff in the app at any time. To have an account, or any personal data we hold about you, deleted, write to support@tretle.com. We confirm within a day and delete within 30.

Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to support@tretle.com, CAD Variables, LLC.
